The buzz from out in Hollywood is getting louder. As you know, I keep my ear to the ground, or maybe more so to the backstage door, and I like to know who is the next big thing. I kept hearing about this new girl on the scene, someone who is going to shake up the music world, old school style and do it the way it needs to be done. With a guitar, a mic and one show at a time.

The first time I heard of The Fabulous Miss Wendy was when my colleague, Sunset Strip's own Johnny LeRue, told me that she was the next big time rock star out of the Strip. I heard from fans out there that she was a goddess on the stage and had the 'it' factor. Brash, punk, talent and all wrapped in a girl with classic pin up looks, you have a hit.

So I listened, watched some bootleg videos on Youtube, Love it! Loved the rawness of the energy, the true love of rock and roll drips from her stage presence. This i rock and roll the way it should be. No Idol or other made for TV fame shows. This is real rock and roll.

With her new album "No One Can Stop Me" due out any day and produced by none other than Kim Fowley (If I need to explain who Fowley is, you are not a rock fan). Folwey has labeled her the Twenty First Century Joan Jett. She recorded the album at LA'sfamed Studio 5109 and the preview tracks I heard blew me away. This girl can flat out rock it!

So with all that swirling around I had to see her live. So I saw her at Churchill's in Miami, Florida and we had a sit down backstage. In a US Rockstar Exclusive, The Fabulous Miss Wendy talks about her music, her album and life on the road.

And just so you know. She totally knocked it out of the park, both the interview and the show.  Read More
